Tension rod HT
The tension rod HT is a moulded sheet steel part especially for timber frame construction for transfer of tensile forces. It enables quick and easy base point anchoring of timber elements in concrete substrates. The tension rod is particularly sturdy and can withstand high stresses. Installation is relatively simple. The connector is placed on the planking in the floor area and fastened to the stem and to the sole plate with screws. In this regard, the connection can safely transfer tensile, suction and shearing forces into the tension rod via the screws and finally into the base plates via an EiSYS-2 plug.
