PediX, the newly developed post feet generation

In our range you can now find a new PediX post foot. What's special about the new PediX 300+150 HV is the increased compressive load capacity of up to 34.5 kN as well as the horizontal load bearing capacity of up to 2.3 kN

The PediX post foot is a post bearer for constructive wood protection. It can be mounted directly to the cross-grained wood of the post by means of 12 fully threaded screws, without the need for additional beams or pre-drilling.

An EPDM joint between post foot and post ensures additional protection of the wood against penetrating moisture. Following assembly, the post foot is still height-adjustable up to 50, 100 or 150 mm, respectively (except post foot B500).

Any production tolerances due the construction or the subsequent setting of the foundations can be compensated by means of the height adjustment. The post foot offers high tensile and compressive load capacities. The durability of the foot is ensured by means of hot dip galvanization in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12944-2 (C3).

Assembly instructions: PediX post foot

The post foot PediX can simply be attached to the cross-grained wood. Put the joint onto the post foot and place both parts centrically on the cross-grained wood surface.

Please note: Base plate and hollow shaft can be detached to facilitate assembly. Once the base plate has been centred, the 12 fully threaded screws 5.0 x 80 mm included in the scope of delivery can be installed at an angle of 25° without pre-drilling.

The hollow shaft and the base plate can be re-assembled once all the screws have been installed. Following erection of the post with the assembled post foot, the foot

can be anchored on a concrete foundation by means of 2 or 4 anchor bolts or concrete screws.

The height of the assembled foot can be adjusted at the bushing by means of a SW30 wrench.

Attention:

The post foot must not be screwed higher than 190 or 290 mm, respectively!
